Expert Reviews

Expert reviews:

Pros
Zesty turbo engine,
high-class cabin,
pleasing to drive.

Cons
Just-average warranty coverage,
wireless smartphone charging only offered on top trim,
less headroom than in a CX-5.

Sharp handling
Upscale interior design
Decent off-road capability for a small crossover SUV

Ride quality is bit stiff
Slightly more expensive than rivals
Middling cargo capacity

By:

edmunds.com

Pros
Posh, comfy interior
Zippy engine performance
Athletic handling
Many standard features

Cons
Busy ride quality
Below-average cargo space

By:

usnews.com

Pros
Perky turbocharged four-cylinder,
Italian roots,
nicely-equipped even in base trim

Cons
Snug rear seat,
rivals offer more overall interior space,
perhaps a little too similar to the Alfa Romeo it's based on.

By:

caranddriver.com

Pros
Very powerful for a small crossover
Comfortable, controlled suspension
Base model's great feature-per-dollar value

Cons
R/T hybrid model's compromised cargo area
Lacks practicality of other compact SUVs
Hellcat V-8 probably won't fit
