Expert Reviews

Expert reviews:

The Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 takes the small-yet-practical GLB and adds much more power and four-wheel drive. Just don’t go thinking passengers in the back will enjoy any full-bore starts.

Pros
Stylish looks
High-class cabin
Impressively quick

Cons
Less fun than a hot-hatch
Cramped third row of seats
Alternatives have bigger boots

For 2021 A more powerful AMG GLB 35 debuts.

Pros
Spacious for both passengers and cargo
Strong overall performance
Exceptional ride and seat comfort
Lots of the latest tech and convenience features

Cons
GLB 250 isn't particularly exciting to drive
Options can quickly run the cost up

Nothing says niche quite like a prestige, seven-seat, medium SUV with a dedicated performance skew. Does the Mercedes-AMG GLB35 rise above pigeonholing?

Pros
Spacious and fancy cabin
Fast
Smart touches throughout

Cons
High ticket price
No space-saving wheel
Lacks some driver-assist systems

By:

caradvice.com.au

Pros
Practical and well built interior
Potentially long warranty
Comfortable and quiet to drive

Cons
Range is nothing special
Some rivals can charge faster
Rivals have more-user friendly infotainment

By:

whatcar.com

Pros
Handling is spry,
nicely-trimmed interior,
compliant ride.

Cons
Less range than rival EVs,
doesn't offer the fastest charging tech,
steer-by-wire system takes getting used to.
