All-new model for 2019.Larger body with more interior room and comfort.Broader capability with advanced suspension and interior technology.Part of the first X5 generation introduced for 2019.

Pros
Strong performance from both models
Luxurious and comfortable cabin that lives up to its price tag

Cons
Options can get pricey
Cluttered instrument panel can be distracting

The 2019 BMW X5 grows even closer to being the do-it-all vehicle in its family.

Pros
Fluid, fervent powertrains
Posh and plush interior
All-terrain talent, but especially on pavement
Excellent seating and space
X5 M isn’t far behind

Cons
Does little to advance SUV styling
Steering’s minor foibles
High-efficiency models are TBD
Third-row seat’s better reserved for the bigger X7 to come
Gird yourself for the bill
